About Kaplage
The naming forms a symbiotic relationship between "Kapla",
the popular construction set consists of identical wood planks,
and "Plage", the French word for beach.

The idea contrasts the understanding of a typical seat and lounge furniture - away from a heavy and sturdy object towards a light and breezy object for daily use.
